NG 40 is portable glass furnace. Automatically controlled burner system with unique option of manual flame setup. Set developed mainly for education, short workshops, small limited production. Furnace is NOT designed for melting raw glass. Cooling oven powered by recuperated heat and is supported by small electric heating elements.
The main benefit of this furnace aside from its mobility is the ability to quickly turn ON/OFF. This function was not available on the market until now. With the NG40 Mobile Glass Furnace, learning to blow glass has never been easier. This state-of-the-art technology brings the legendary craft to where you are without the hassles of overnight melting procedures, or highly trained staff.
Because turning a glass furnace on and off is extremely challenging for on any kind of refractory, it took a lot of research and development to make this furnace design possible. Warranty on the pot is 20 cycles. With good care it is possible that you will be able to benefit from many more cycles. Especially with our electric preheating set.
This furnace has an automatic temperature controller but we have maintained the option to be able to work with and control the shape of the flame. This means that you can set the flame for the optimum results whether you make thick sculptural work or small detailed vessels.
